Lifelong Learning Project

Although the topic of lifelong learning comes up often in education conferences and studies on technological competitiveness, no recent in-depth study has been conducted on the subject. With the ultimate view to propose recommendations for a national framework for lifelong learning, this study will engage all stakeholders to

• Better understand the lifelong learning needs for working professionals
• Survey currently available opportunities for lifelong learning to develop a comprehensive understanding of what works and what does not

The study will produce a document summarizing the findings of the interviews and identifying consensus viewpoints and strategies for going forward. This report will serve as a fundamental resource to be discussed in the workshop that will be organized in Fall 2011.
